Joseph Martinez, age 77, of Hanover Twp. entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 6, 1940 in Hanover Twp. and was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Stelevich Martinez. Joseph was a graduate of Hanover High School and Penn State University where he received his Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting. He was a veteran serving with the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis and was a life member of the Amvets Post 59, Breslau, Hanover Twp. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Borton Lawson Engineering as an Architectural Engineer. Prior to that, he was employed Eyerman Csala as an Architectural Draftsman. He was an avid golfer, was a member of the Hanover Twp. Senior Golfing League, and loved golfing with his best friend, Al Pearce.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ramon and Carlos.

Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, the former Beverly Gillette; children, Joseph and his fiancé, Meagan, of Dallas, Renee Antolik and her husband, Richard, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jason and Kellie, of Kingston, Vincent and his wife, Erica, of Youngsville, North Carolina; grandchildren, who were the joy of his life, Connor, Corey, Samantha, Taylor and Aidan; sister, Eleanor Kryger, of Wilkes Barre; brothers, Valentin Martinez and his wife, Rosemary, of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Paul Martinez and his wife, Gloria, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 pm at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Friends may call from Thursday from 5 pm until service time.
