Philip G. Cramer, age 79, of Nanticoke, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Wilkes Barre General Hospital.

Born July 9, 1944 in Inglewood, California, he was the son of the late Frank Cramer and Zeta Fairservice Cramer. Philip was a graduate of Serra High School and attended El Camino College, California.

Philip was a veteran serving with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked at the Pentagon. Prior to his retirement, he was a landscaper for Huntsville Nursery, Lehman. Prior to that, he had been employed for many years as an accountant.

Philip was an avid gardener and he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, the former Mary Yarmolowicz; children, Matthew Cramer (Amy), of Nanticoke, Mark Cramer, of Nanticoke, and Sharon Kline (Charles "Bob"), of Stillwater, grandchildren, Morgan Kline, Sydney Kline, Madison Cramer, Abigail Cramer and Vivian Cramer; brothers, Paul Cramer, of Lancaster, Ca, and Richard Cramer, of Redding, Ca; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3, at 5 p.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Private interment will take place in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Muhlenburg.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made in Philip’s memory to the Luzerne County SPCA.
