Mary Ruda, age 54, of Hunlock Creek, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at her home.

Born May 31, 1969 in Hunlock Creek, she was the daughter of Maryann Baigis Ruda and the late John E. Ruda, who passed away on February 2, 2014. She was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School and Luzerne County Community College. In past years, she had been employed as a medical assistant.

Mary was a loving daughter and sister and she devoted much of her time to her family. Above all, she was dedicated to the care of her mother who she loved dearly.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Janet Archer (Brian), Hanover Twp., and Debra Yanchus (Frank), Larksville; niece, Shannon Connolly; nephew, Joel Larby; great nieces and nephews, Adrianna, Jocelyn and Carson Connolly and Cody Bartos.

Family and friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
