Frank J. Wentko, age 75, of Dallas, passed into the Hands of the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born April 3, 1950 in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Frank Wentko Sr. and Helen Mikus Wentko. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.

In past years, he had been employed as a restaurant and bar operator of TeddyBear Lounge where he met his wife, Roseanne, and later married in 1986.

Frank was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Roseanne Baran, who passed away on November 8, 2023.

Surviving are his loving daughter, Rosalyn Polacek (Joseph), of Saylorsburg, Pa; grandsons, Aaron Polacek and Michael Polacek; brother, Lawrence Wentko; sisters, Denise Wentko and Delphine Bastis; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Dallasandro (Ben) and Mary McHugh (Kevin); and niece, Mollie Scheuremann (Ryan).

Funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 9 a.m.until funeral time at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
