John Williams, husband of Christina, age 61, of Plymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Born October 29, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of Anna Williams Schomaker and the late John Schomaker. John attended Wyoming Valley West High School and in past years had been employed at API Metal Fabrication for several years.

John was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Plymouth.

He loved nothing more than spending time with his son, John Jr., and sharing good times with friends at the Plymouth Flats.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Williams.

Surviving are loving wife, the former, Christina Borsavage; son, John Jr.; sisters, Lisa Long (Dave Walton), of Plymouth, and Tricia James (Christopher), of Plymouth; brothers-in-law, Edward Borsavage (Stacie), of Plymouth, and Brian Borsavage (Holly), of Dupont; aunts, Louise Minuski and Irene Minuski; dear best friend, Malcolm Stritzinger (Lucille); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends, including Donna Krasnavage.

Funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Cherry Street Bible Church, Plymouth, with Pastor James Sienkiewicz officiating.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. until service time at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions if desired may be made in John’s memory to the Cherry Street Bible Church, 55 Cherry Street, Plymouth.

John’s family would especially like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Allied Hospice for their care and compassion.
