Wanda Josulevicz, age 86, of Hanover Twp. passed into the hands of the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Allied Meade Street Hospice, Wilkes Barre. Wanda was the loving wife of the late Francis (Frank) Josulevicz with whom she shared 48 years of marriage until his passing on May 27, 2013.
Born August 15, 1938 in Hanover Twp., she was the daughter of the late Frank Kwiatkowski and Frances Lewandowski Kwiatkowski. She was a graduate of Hanover Area High School. Wanda was a member of Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Buttonwood Section of Hanover Twp. where she was active in many church functions over the years.
Prior to her retirement in 2000, she had been employed by the Department of Social Security Administration for many years.
Wanda cherished the time she spent with her family and close friends, especially during the holidays. Her homemade pierogies and raisin bread were legendary, and everyone looked forward to enjoying them each year. A passionate NFL fan, she especially loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Commanders.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (Frank) and her brother, Joseph Kwiatkowski.
Surviving are her loving children, Donna Canouse and her husband, Jeff, of Georgia, Gail Josulevicz, of Hanover Twp., and Brian Josulevicz and his wife, Melissa, of Dallas; grandchildren, Zachary and Celeste Josulevicz; brother, Frank Kwiatkowski and his wife, Alice, of Hanover Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Buttonwood Section of Hanover Twp. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until mass time at the church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made in Wanda’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
