Barbara M. Chintalla, age 76, of Hanover Twp.  passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Born December 30, 1948 in Plains Twp., she was the daughter of the late Adam Aleski and Mary Kalmanir Aleski. She was a graduate of Plains Memorial School and a member Exaltation of Holy Cross Church, Buttonwood Section of Hanover Twp.

Prior to her retirement, Barbara had been employed by the Social Security Administration for 36 years, serving in various roles and spending the last six years of her career as a customer service specialist.

She was known for her deep love of dogs, who brought her joy and companionship throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Richard J. Chintalla.

Surviving are her siblings, Eleanor (Ellie) A. Reese, Andrew Aleski, John Aleski, Thomas Aleski, Nancy Ferrell, and Perry Aleski and his partner, Jason Lechner; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Arrangements were entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
