Our loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend Paul T. Dietrich, 86, of Plymouth, PA, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Edenbrook Hampton Skilled Nursing.

Born in Wilkes Barre on June 19, 1939, he was the son of the late Paul Thomas Dietrich and Claire Morris Dietrich.

Paul had a long successful career in the facilities management field and following his retirement he enjoyed working at Moon Lake Park.

Paul was a former Wyoming Valley West School Board member and president, a Luzerne County Intermediate member, a Plymouth Library board member and he served on the vestry board of St. Clement and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Griffin Dietrich; son Kevin Dietrich; and sister, Dorothy Noone.

He is survived by his loving children, Paul Dietrich and his wife, Jill, Downingtown, Kimberly Dietrich, Plymouth, and Greg Dietrich, Nanticoke; grandsons, Andrew and Thomas Dempsey, and Christopher, Jonathan (Jack) and Matthew Dietrich; sister, Barbara Hafner (Bob); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Contributions, if desired, may be made to the Plymouth Public Library or the Plymouth Historical Society.

Paul’s family would like to thank the many caregivers at Edenbrook and Compassionate Care Hospice for the support and compassion that was shown to our father during his illness.
