Ann Marie Finnegan “Marie”, age 82, of Edwardsville passed into eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

Born March 1, 1943 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Ben Mikulski and Anna Snieska Mikulski. Marie was a graduate of St. Vincent’s High School and a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Wyoming Valley West School District.

Marie was an avid reader, with a special love for romance novels. Throughout her life, she cherished the companionship of her beloved dogs, who brought her great joy. She was also known for her knack for finding the best shopping deals, a talent that always brought a smile to those around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Finnegan, and her brother, Ben Mikulski.

Surviving are her loving children, Gary T. Finnegan and his wife, Ann Marie, of Courtdale, and Tina A. Finnegan, of Shavertown; grandchildren, Ashlyn Stanziano and her husband, Christian, of Olmstead Twp., Ohio, and Matthew Finnegan. Also surviving are sisters-in-laws, Marsha Finnegan and Helen Zarrizski, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth.

Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Muhlenburg.
