Carol Stone, age 69, of Plymouth Twp., passed into eternal rest on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Born September 6, 1956 in Springville, New York, she was the daughter of the late Arnot Albee and Nancy Cardinali Albee. She was raised for most of her life in Ashley. Carol was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, Class of 1974, and had attended Luzerne County Community College School of Nursing. She had been a member of St. Leo’s Church in Ashley.

Carol loved to spend time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her husband over the years.

She is survived by her loving husband James A. Stone; children, Jacqueline Delaney and her husband, Paul, Enola, Pa., Diedra Stone-McGrory, Haddonfield, New Jersey and Abraham J. Stone and his wife, Jennifer, Pittston; grandchildren, Zachary McGrory, Zoe McGrory and Veda Stone, brothers and sisters, Janet Harris, Wilkes Barre, Arnot Albee and his wife, Lynn, Ashley, Nanci White, Coplay, Judy Morgan and her husband, Mark, Mountain Top, James Albee and his wife, Tracey, Nuangola; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at the S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth.

Family and friends may call from 2:30 pm until 5 p.m at the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home.
