Brian 'Spud' 'Dudley' O’Neil, age 57, of Wilkes Barre, Unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home.

Dudley was the second born son of Thomas Charles O’Neil Sr. and Joyce Louise Schooley O’Neil. Born November, 06 ,1967 he had attended Wyoming Valley West High School.

Spud was a journeyman plumber and was most recently employed by Derman Associates Plumbing, Wilkes Barre.

In addition to his parents, Dud was preceded in death by his big brother Thomas O’Neil Jr., and younger brother Derick O’Neil and his nephew, Thomas O’Neil III.

Surviving are his children, Courtney Spry and her husband Douglas Spry, Nanticoke and Joshua Hughes and his fiance Holly Plappert, Wilkes Barre, his grandson, Douglas Allen-Lee Spry, his brothers and sisters, Stephen O’Neil, Wilkes Barre Jennifer O'Neil, Plymouth, Michelle Smith and her husband Robert Smith Sr., Plymouth, Michael O’Neil, and his fiance Tracey Olson, Pringle and numerous nieces and nephews.
