Jeanne Marie Antonik, age 74, of Nanticoke, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford.

Born May 2, 1951 in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Antonik and Lillian Tilletski Antonik. Jeanne was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and Penn State University.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Area Agency on Aging as a social worker/assessor.

Jeanne was a devoted Penn State sports fan who especially enjoyed cheering on the Nittany Lions football team and the women’s basketball team. She had a fondness for western films and ghost stories, often finding joy in the tales they told. She also loved classic rock and considered herself a hippie at heart. She enjoyed fashion and jewelry—particularly turquoise pieces and tie-dye designs. Known for her generous spirit, Jeanne found great happiness in giving gifts to her family and friends, always thinking of others with kindness and love.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen James Antonik; and infant sister, Karen.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Loretta (Loree) Antonik, of Springfield, Pa; nieces, Melissa Antonik, Nicole Antonik and Stephanie Antonik Day; great nieces, Paige and Rosalie; and great nephew, Alexander.

Funeral services and interment will be on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Nanticoke.
