Anthony M. Jones, age 53, of Wilkes Barre, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Born September 12, 1972 in Wilkes Barre, he was the son of John Shiner and Christine Ritts Shiner, of Wilkes Barre. He attended GAR High School. He was employed as a chef by D’s Diner.

Anthony was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Bears, New York Yankees and the Boston Celtics. He loved the outdoors, was a die-hard KISS fan and loved the movie, The Godfather.

He is survived by his four sons, Michael Glowaniak, of Hanover Twp., Anthony M. Jones Jr., of Plymouth, Darren C. Jones, of Shavertown, and Brandon Taylor Jones, of Shickshinny; and numerous grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
