Anne (Anna) Brown, age 98, of Kingston, passed into the Hands of The Lord of Monday, December 29, 2025 at Tiffany Court, Kingston.
Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Michael Klimchok and Anna Maceiko Klimchok. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School and had been a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth.
Prior to her retirement, Anne was employed by the Wyoming Valley Garment Industry. She spent many years at Bass Manufacturing Company, Plymouth, as a seamstress and was a member of I.L.G.W.U.
She volunteered at The St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen, Wilkes Barre, and was volunteer of the year in 2016.
She enjoyed going to flea markets, had a special place in her heart for cats, and was an avid Penn State Football fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William James Brown, who passed away in 1965; sister, Helen Potera; and brothers, Daniel Klimchok and Michael Klimchok.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Carol Zaher, of Los Angeles, Ca; grandsons, Brian Koteen and Eric Koteen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family with Father Walter Pasicznyk, Pastor of S.S. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth, offisting with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Contributions, if desired, may be made in Anna’s memory to a veteran charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements were entrusted to the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, Plymouth.
