Susan Theresa Lamoreaux, age 60, of Edwardsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home.

Susan was born May 19, 1965, in Plymouth to the proud parents of Edward Mikulski and the late Theresa Stiber Mikulski. Susan was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School.

Susan’s greatest joy was her grandchildren. They were the lights of her life. She was a true believer in God, an avid reader, and a collector of purses, and she loved elephants. Yellow, green, and purple were her favorite colors, and she especially loved yellow roses. In past years, she spent much time teaching her grandkids life skills and helping them become the best people they could be. She was always there for everyone whenever they called or came over. Christmas was a very special time that she tremendously enjoyed. She once put up a real Christmas tree that was half the size of her living room.

Susan loved to talk and could make a five-minute story turn into a three-hour one. She had the biggest heart in the world and always had to have the last word in everything. Susan adored animals and her pets, especially her beloved cat, Penny.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are her loving husband of 40 years, Robert Lamoreaux; four children, Sonia Margaret Veronica Lamoreaux, Sharon Castle (Richard), Jon Lamoreaux, and Robby Lamoreaux (Danielle); grandchildren Chase, Richie, Ethan, Robbie, and Ember; a brother, Edward Mikulski (Barb), and their children Jeff, Justin, and Stephanie; a sister, Angela Makarewicz (Tony); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

She will forever be missed and always thought of, and she will be looking down on her family and grandchildren until the day we all meet again.
