Mary M. Spatz, age 93, of Larksville, passed into the Hands of the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center Wilkes Barre.

Born August 2, 1932 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Michael Millo and Theresa Mydla Millo. Mary was a graduate of Larksville High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth, and had been a member of the Trinity House at St. Stephen’s Church and All Saints Parish, the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Parish cleaning group.

Prior to her retirement, Mary was employed at the Atwater Throwing Company, Plymouth, for many years.

Mary enjoyed traveling, especially her memorable trip with her sister, Ann, to Rome which was a pilgrimage with the Diocese of Scranton. One of the highlights of her journey was the unforgettable experience of seeing Pope John Paul II on the balcony.

Above all, Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren and loved to cheer them on at their sporting events. Her love, encouragement, and unwavering presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Spatz; her son, Bernard J. Spatz Jr.; and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her loving children, Doreen Kolojejchick (James), Larksville, and Michael Spatz, Fort Lauderdale, Fl., and Lisa Zim (David), Cumming, Ga; grandchildren, Matthew Kolojejchick (Breana), Garland, NC, and Kelsey Kolojejchick Usefara (Jon), Lewisburg, Pa; great grandchildren, Nylah Usefara and Cora Usefara; sisters, Ann Urban, Jackson, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made in Mary’s memory to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 24 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Parish, Plymouth.

Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Lehman.

Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until mass time at All Saints Parish, Plymouth.
