Christine (Cricket) Romanowski, age 62, of Larksville, passed into the Hands of the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Born on May 30, 1964, in Novato, California, she was the daughter of Geraldine “Geri” Jones Melovitz and the late Ronald L. Melovitz, who passed away on April 21, 2013.

Christine was a graduate of West Side Area Vocational-Technical School, Pringle, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville.

For many years, she was employed as a beautician at Mary Taylor Hair Salon, where she enjoyed serving her clients and forming lasting friendships.

Christine loved to travel and looked forward to vacations, especially visits to the shore. She also enjoyed shopping and cherished the many trips she took to Connecticut to spend time with family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, David Romanowski and Shelby Romanowski; and her brother, Robert R. Melovitz, of Plains.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Dallas.

Arrangements are entrusted to the S. J. Grontkowski Funeral Home Plymouth.
