Elizabeth G. Watkins, age 85, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Guardian Elder Care Center, Nanticoke. Born August 1, 1925 in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Yedinak.

She attended Larksville Schools and was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Church of Plymouth.

Elizabeth retired from the Wyoming Valley West Schools.

She is survived by her son, Russell and his wife, Kim of Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; sister, Arlene Kopicki of Nanticoke; brother, John Yedinak of Buffalo, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; daughter, Donna; son, David; and sister, Peggy.

Betty was deeply saddened by the loss of her children and was anxious to join them in Heaven. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral will be Thursday morning at 10:00 from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow Street, Plymouth.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to funeral at 10:00.
