Helen Irene Cebula, age 88, of Lyndwood, Hanover Township, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Born July 19, 1925 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Stella Koprowski Turchanik.

She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1943. She also attended Bradford Beauty Academy and Bruno School of Hair and Design, in Toronto, Canada.

She had been employed by Acme Bakery and as a beautician.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; brother, Henry Turchanik; and sister, Eleanor McManus.

Surviving are her brother, Albert E. Turchanik; nephews, Alan Turchanik, and Henry Turchanik Jr. and his wife, Margaret and niece, Sister Fran McManus. Additional nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.

Funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 from the S.J.Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow Street, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00.
