Jeffrey A. Evans, 43, Shickshinny, passed away on Wednesday.

He was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, and had been employed by Luzerne County Housing Authority.

Jeff was a loving son and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his mother, Mary Ellen. Jeff was the light of her life.

Preceded by father, Ronald A. (Barney) Evans; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, Mary Ellen (Turoski) Evans, are uncles, Larry Turoski, and John Evans; aunt, Elaine Kukowski and husband, Ronald; cousins, Larry and Keith Turoski, Heather Ostrowski, Mark Kukowski, Cheryl Martin, and Trisha Major, many dear friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family from the S.J.Grontkowski F.H., Plymouth.
