| Dear Rafael,
We just heard of your mom's passing this morning as we listened to a local radio show on King's College WRKC that reads the newspaper for blind folks and shut-ins. We aren't at that point yet, but not as mobile as we used to be.
Your mom was in our wedding party back in 1964, and even came along with the rest of our party for a surprise greeting at our supposedly secret honeymoon site!
Years later we were both part of your folks' wedding party- that time there was an after-party at the motel where the Canadians were staying, and we all had a great time trying to communicate in Spanish, English, and French (sometimes all at once).
We've had medical problems and a recent surgery,so we won't be able to come to the church tomorrow but our hearts will be with you. May you find peace.
