Steve Carlesi, age 38, of Scranton, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born February 22, 1974, he was the son of Thomas Stephen Carlesi of Boca Raton, Florida and Alice Jacobs of Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

He graduated from Hebron Academy, Maine and Boston University, with a degree in Communications and Broadcasting.

Steve was employed for 12 years with the Opie and Anthony Radio Show; his last 5 years there, he was both Program Director and Executive Producer. He was also the Executive Producer of the Danny Bonaduce Show in Philadelphia and most recently, was employed as the Production Director and On Air Talent for Rock 107, Scranton.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Elisabeth Carlesi.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, the former, Mary Jo (M.J.) Kovaleski; son, Xander Haras Mikina Carlesi; step-daughter, Aubrey Wilpiszewski.

Funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:00 from the S.J.Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow Street, Plymouth.

Family and friends are invited to call Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00.
